Located in historic Harriman, Tennessee's Cornstalk Heights National Historic District, Bushrod Hall represents the elegant lifestyle of 100 years ago. This splendid property offers our guests a unique experience in living history when this home was the Hall of Domestic Science of the American Temperance University and Harriman was a booming utopia for "thrift, sobriety, superior intelligence and exalted moral character..."

The decor of Bushrod Hall includes the red oak foyer and massive staircase which was imported from Sweden in 1890, mosaic hardwood floors, and tall ceilings. Eight types of piano finish woods are featured in the family and bedrooms.
Bushrod Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
